Bernard Salt is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading social commentators by business and the media. He is a Partner in the Australian firm of the global advisory business KPMG. He writes two weekly columns for “The Australian” newspaper and is one of the most in-demand speakers on the corporate speaking circuit.
Bernard has published six popular best-selling books on demographics namely “The Big Shift” in 2001, “The Big Picture” in 2006, the quirky “Man Drought” in 2008, “The Big Tilt” in 2011, the engaging “Decent Obsessions” in 2013. Bernard released his most recent book “More Decent Obsessions” in November 2014.
Bernard founded and heads KPMG Demographics which specialises in the preparation of advisory reports that have an impact in the media and that offer an insight into consumer behaviour.
Bernard Salt was awarded an AM on Australia Day 2017.
